what is dermaplaning?
Dermaplane treatment is considered the female version of shaving. It’s a highly time-saving method in which vellus hair, better known as peach fuzz, is removed, leaving behind well-exfoliated and smoother skin. Unlike shaving, a scalpel or a dermatome is used for dermaplaning. However, for the best results, it is always advised that all such procedures must be carried out in the clinical observation of an aesthetic professional(s).
Dermaplaning – $85
Dermaplaning utilizes the deep-exfoliation technique of blading the skin to remove the top-most layer skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz), immediately revealing a smoother face. This process will create a healthier, more youthful appearance and through regular treatments, you will see a reduction in superficially Hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles. This service will exfoliate deeper than Microdermabrasion, which will allow all your skincare products to penetrate more deeply and work to their full potential! Dermaplaning is best if done in a series, and can safely be done every four weeks. For a more aggressive treatment, dermaplaning can be followed by an acid peel.
